Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading the online elements of our communications campaigns, as well as providing strategic recommendations for digital communications activities, driving growth across our social media channels, increasing awareness and understanding of Digital Catapult amongst key audiences online and creating multi-channel content to deliver fully integrated campaigns.
What you’ll do:
- Manage all of Digital Catapult’s social media channels
- Manage Digital Catapult’s website keeping content fresh and up to date, ensuring consistency across all of our digital estate
- Build and maintain a list of influencers and leverage them across social activity
- Build, update and implement key dates calendar to amplify social activity
- Drive online engagement and awareness of Digital Catapult-hosted events
- Plan, write and distribute newsletters
- Work closely with the wider Marcomms team to plan social media activity that accurately reflects the range of work from across the organisation
- Provide recommendations and focus for our digital communications activities
- Plan and manage campaigns to deliver our content strategy
