Software Engineer, growing Cambridge tech company. This Software Engineer opportunity is a chance to excel your career in Software Engineering at a cutting edge company during a phase of growth while learning new skills alongside world class experts in their fields.
As a Software Engineer you will be exposed to a wide range of technologies with potential to mould your career development around areas you are most interested in, you will largely develop backend software and middleware to communicate with a front end. You will use high level software languages as well as C/C++ in a Linux environment. You may be exposed to OS development, low-level networking and compilers. You will have the chance to research new product ideas and bring them to life from the architecture through to the full software development cycle.
Key skills for the Software Engineer:
- Demonstrable passion for programming
- Experience with C or C++
- Ideally exposure to a high level language such as Python
- Linux experience
- Knowledge of networking is advantageous
