We’re looking for a highly motivated, talented and capable UX developer to join our growing team, developing usable, effective, efficient UX applications, solutions and services for our clients.

We work in partnership with central government agencies to build and maintain operationally critical systems. This role offers fantastic opportunities to gain experience and technical expertise across a wide range of leading edge and bespoke technologies within an extremely interesting and rewarding environment. We need a UX developer with a proven track record for the delivery of usable, effective, efficient UX applications, solutions or services. Who can optimise how information and function is presented to the user and has experience of techniques and standards to deliver service design, conceptual models and content management.

 

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Work alongside UX designers and UI developers across teams and effectively manage inter-team dynamics when working across boundaries and responsibilities;
• To be able to engage with users for design input and reviews and seek constructive outcomes in discussions, challenge assumptions but remain willing to compromise when it is beneficial to progress.
• Confidently engage with stakeholders to generate commitment to goals and build trust with people involved in the area of work;
• Be open and inviting of the views of others and respond despite pressure to ignore, revert or concede.

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• React JavaScript;
• Material-UI;
• Sassy Cascading Style Sheets (SCSS);
• HTML5 Web Storage;
• Redux (JavaScript library);
• Npm (JavaScript packaging manager).

Ideally you will have familiarity with tools to allow for efficient design collaboration e.g.
• Sketch;
• Adobe illustrator;
• Flinto;
• Storybook UI.
