Wider experience of Open-Source Software, LAMP Stack and other web technologies are an advantage. A track record in testing UIs would also be an advantage.

We are expanding our development team to continue to develop and evolve our IoT Mashapp
platform. We are looking for an energetic and experienced web UI/UX developer who has a strong background designing and creating dynamic, modern web applications. Wider experience of Open
Source Software, LAMP Stack and other web technologies are an advantage. A track record in testing UIs would also be an advantage. Must be creative, self-motivated and relish working in unstructured, loosely-managed start-up environment.
Core Responsibilities:
• Implementing the UI/UX in our core products
• Continuous integration and testing the UI elements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Relevant University Degree 2:1 or above or;
• At least 3 years’ experience within the IT sector.

PREFERRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate will have a development background with a good history user interface and user experience design and development. Experience of UI testing frameworks would be an advantage as would OSS, LAMP and other web technologies.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
• UI design and implementation
• HTML5 + JavaScript
• CSS and related tools
• PHP
• Testing frameworks such as Selenium
• Web Services JSON/REST APIs
• JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Bootstrap
• Linux / Unix
• Version Control Systems – Specifically Git
The following skills are desirable, but not essential:
• IoT
• Databases, SQL and no-SQL
• M2M protocols (such as CoAP, MQTT and oneM2M)
• Python
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
