Crypta Labs, SQR Systems and Durham University are set to fund research into quantum-secure encryption algorithms to secure critical infrastructure
The protection of confidential information, whether stored on a device or in transit, relies on secure encryption. Crypta Labs provides products and solutions to fix the weakest link in the encryption process.
We are replacing Pseudo Random Numbers Generators, algorithmically determined sequences and therefore vulnerable to hacking. Our Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) technology uses the quantum properties of light to generate true random numbers.
We are developing a QRNG-based encryption chip as well as QRNG-based encryption software for mobile phones (which uses a phone's in-built camera and sensors).
Our technology provides military grade, end-to-end encryption for devices and communications to the IoT 'fatality' market (i.e. anything which if hacked can be lethal: healthcare, transportation, critical infrastructure) as well as to the military & intelligence services.
