VMhosts launches new back-up and recovery service

Published by VMhosts Ltd.

VMhosts is excited to announce a new cloud based backup and recovery solution which will enable its customers to not only back up their business critical data and applications but also recover to VMhosts cloud infrastructure.

VMhosts is a technology focused company specialising in providing cloud based services to businesses and personal clients alike. After speaking with customers, VMhosts realised many simply weren’t testing the recovery of their backups and recognised the need for a fully managed back-up disaster recovery plan. It’s very easy to forget the importance of back-up recovery; VMhosts cloud based infrastructure will allow frequent tests of customer’s full system off-site backups and is fully managed to give customers peace of mind.

Michael Custance, Director of VMhosts stated “It was apparent customers simply couldn’t rely or trust on their backups, we understand the importance of a recovery disaster plan so wanted to provide a service that would help our customers immensely. Unfortunately the recovery of backups is often over-looked until it’s too late”.

How it works – VMhosts use Commvaults proven enterprise Simpana back-up and recovery software to provide reliable and scalable business continuity. Commvaults 3rd generation deduplication technology allows daily full off-site backups of business critical data and applications. VMhosts existing cloud infrastructure provides a platform for test and critical recovery tasks. In the event of a disaster, VMhosts can recover your full systems and allow secure remote access without the need for any spare hardware usually required for test and DR purposes – making the lives of our customers far easier!
