Q: What have been your key milestones since winning DSU in 2014?
A: The team have been busy! Key milestones include:
Creation of our AI framework which builds languages using minimal data sets and previous language knowledge
Holder of a Deloitte Fast 50 award
Scaling the company from 7 employees to now, 38
First investment round closed at the end of 2016
Close to hitting 30 languages built in an 18 months time frame
Q: If you could offer one tip for startups pitching at this years competition, what would it be?
A: Don’t be scared just go for it!
Q: Casting your minds back to the competition, would you say the competition provided you with new, valuable contacts? If so, can you tell us who & why?
A: Yes, useful contacts that helped refine the business story and product definition
Q: Are you working on any new project launches that you can tell us about?
A: Yes but they are under embargo
Q: How many staff did you have working for you in 2014 and how many do you have now?
A: We had 7, we’ve now got a team of 38
