IoTAS achieve UKAS 17025 Accreditation for NB-IoT and CAT M1 – required for GCF Field Trial testing

IoTAS are proud to inform you that we are the first company to obtain UKAS 17025 accreditation for NB-IoT and Cat M1 against GCF Certification Criteria:

  • F.4 – NB-IoT - GCF Field Trials for devices supporting LTE Cat M1 F5
  • F5.4 – LTE Cat M1 - GCF Field Trials for devices supporting NB-IoT

As a Global Certification Forum (GCF) Registered Test Organisation (RTO) we are able to offer NB-IoT and Cat M1 Field Trial testing, which we have now completed on multiple networks. If you are developing an NB-IoT product or Cat M1 product and would like testing to be completed by a certified, quality driven RTO then contact us here.

IoTAS Complete GCF NB-IoT Testing in the Vodafone Lab in Newbury, UK

IoTAS would like to thank the Vodafone Lab in the UK for the support given in the UKAS 17025 NB-IoT Field Trial testing. The Vodafone IoT lab, located in Newbury is part of the GSMA Mobile IoT Initiative (Open IoT Labs). For more information on IoTAS NB-IoT please click here.

IoTAS Complete GCF Cat-M1 Testing on the Telstra network in Sydney, Australia

IoTAS would like to thank Telstra, Australia’s leading provider of mobile phones and devices, and UKAS for the support given in Australia enabling us to successfully complete UKAS 17025 Cat-M1 Field Trial testing.

IoTAS Complete GCF NB-IoT Testing in the Vodafone Lab in Düsseldorf, Germany

IoTAS also completed GCF NB-IoT Field Trial testing in Germany. This is the first time that the Vodafone IoT lab, located in Düsseldorf and which is part of the GSMA Mobile IoT Initiative (Open IoT Labs) Germany has been used for this specific trial. The testing was completed by IoTAS in accordance with the GSMA CLP.23: CIoT field trials test specification.

As well as being a founder member of Cambridge Wireless IoTAS is also founder member of the Global Certification Forum (GCF) Ltd and is an active participant in the GCF Field-Trial Agreement Group (FTAG) meetings; contributing to the ongoing global requirements for the certification of 3GPP based wireless terminals. IoTAS is committed to being a recognised leader in live network field-testing by working with its customers and industry forums to provide solutions that meet customer needs, objectives and certification requirements.
