CW is promoting diversity across all its activities. To help make this happen we’re offering a 3 for 2 deal on CWIC 2018 tickets to enable regular attendees to bring an up-and-coming colleague along for free so that junior technology professionals can benefit from networking and knowledge-sharing that they otherwise might not be able to access.

CW is the leading international community for companies involved in the research, development and application of wireless and mobile, internet, semiconductor and software technologies. We exist to stimulate debate and collaboration, harness and share knowledge and help to build connections between academia and industry. This means that we need to continuously challenge assumptions and change perceptions. Doing so in a way that is relevant and representative requires diversity.

Yet, amongst attendees from our 400-strong membership base of professionals from major network operators, device manufacturers, innovative start-ups and universities, we know that (like so many other organisations in the technology sector) there is a representation imbalance across age, gender and race.  

To address this, we’re encouraging you to look around your office and your wider network with a view to bringing someone to CWIC 2018 who has not engaged with the CW debate before - someone who can bring a new perspective. It may be a young engineer, an international placement, or a female working in the organisation. Who are your rising stars? Which line manager would be a great advocate for your organisation?
