At Cofinitive we believe in straight talking and saying things as they are, and there is no doubt the Regulations (GDPR) is the biggest change in data protection laws and marketing in 20 years, so here we go.

You must have your head in the sand to have missed all of the chatter about GDPR (General Data Protection), and no doubt your inbox already is more annoying than ever with boundless requests to update your preferences. We do kinda wonder whether GDPR will be like Y2K (for those that remember), but at Cofinitive we believe in straight talking and saying things as they are, and there is no doubt the Regulations (GDPR) is the biggest change in data protection laws and marketing in 20 years, so here we go.

Yes, GDPR will affect your business.

No, you cannot ignore it.

No, GDPR does not mean you can’t do any more marketing.

Yes, GDPR can be a good thing, a really good thing.

Within Cofinitive we have grown organically over the last 3 1/3rd years, so we’ve never built a database (we know!), that is until now, and we can see first-hand the absolute power of seizing the opportunity GDPR offers. For any business, the success of your communications depends on your ability to get yourself heard – by the right people, with the right message, at the right time.

So, sorry, but we will be adding to your inbox too, but to make it more worthwhile, for everyone who updates their preferences with us (click here), we will donate to a charity effort by the Golden Girls Against Cancer #GGAC – follow the link to find out more and we’ll let you know how much we donate on 25th May!

If you want the second half of 2018 to be a pivotal moment in your business communications, get in touch with Cofinitive today to help you develop a strategy that makes sure you send people the communications they want, how they want to receive them. You never know, you may even look back on GDPR favourably yet

PS.  If you missed the link to update your preferences here it is again (might as well go for the hat trick)!
