Chronos Technology, a leading international authority on resilient sync and timing solutions, has become a member of the Power Networks Demonstration Centre (PNDC), a venture founded by government, industrial and academic partners with the aim of accelerating the adoption of innovative research and technologies from early stage research into business as usual adoption by the electricity industry.
For over 30 years Chronos has been delivering resilient sync and timing solutions and services in the UK and overseas for a range of sectors including Telecoms, Finance, Energy and Broadcast. Chronos joins the PNDC at a time where synchronisation and time measurement is key within the electricity networks, more so with the introduction of increasingly connected substations and greater deployment of Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
