BosonQ Psi (BQP), a leading startup in the Quantum-CAE domain, has entered Stage 2 of Innovate UK’s Net Zero: Design Engineering Innovation Lab.
The Innovation Lab will bring together experts and insights from across different sectors to accelerate the shift to a net zero economy. The Stage 2 invites the leaders from the shortlisted organizations to participate in a 5-day in-person workshop.
Jash Kumar, the Founder, and COO, will represent BQP at the workshop. He adds, "To stand out from a wide range of applicants with innovative technology and being recognized by UK Innovate, UK’s innovation agency is an honour for us. Further, I would also like to take this opportunity to place on record our appreciation for the support and endorsement we received from the Global Entrepreneur Program (GEP), UK to help establish our presence in the region. Being part of these programs is a true vote of confidence from the UK government that our technology is set to do incredible things ".
BQP, with its novel Quantum-powered engineering simulation software, BQPhy®, accelerates design engineering process with high-fidelity thermal simulations and design optimization to enhance net-zero designs,
Abhishek Chopra, Founder and CEO, adds, “UK is a critical market for BQP and making a mark in a short span of time with Innovate UK feels surreal. As part of this opportunity, BQP will benefit from the access to Innovate UK's extensive network, which includes industry partners, academic institutions, and government entities. In return, BQP will contribute its deep expertise, innovative solutions, and industry insights in simulation and quantum computing to the partnership.”
Tony Hughes, advisor to the UK's International Trade and Investment government department and mentor for start-ups through the Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP) had this to say about BQP’s entry to Stage 2 of Innovate UK’s Net Zero: Design Engineering Innovation Lab
“I have been impressed with the tenacity and talent of the BosonQ Psi team over the past few years and since I brought them to the UK as part of the UK government’s Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP). The team's trailblazing work, evident in their Quantum-powered engineering simulation software, BQPhy®, has offered a quantum leap in design engineering processes. Their exceptional ability to meld high-fidelity thermal simulations and design optimization for enhancing net-zero designs is groundbreaking.
It is no surprise that they have been recognised and invited to Stage 2 of Innovate UK’s Net Zero: Design Engineering Innovation Lab. Their recognition by UK Innovate is a testament to their potential to truly revolutionise the way we approach design and sustainability.
The BQP team, led by the visionary founders, Jash Kumar and Abhishek Chopra, have displayed an extraordinary commitment to innovation, demonstrated by the rapid strides they have made in such a short time. Their contribution to the UK market is not only invaluable but could be transformative, accelerating us towards a net-zero economy at a pace that was previously unimagined.
BosonQ Psi is a glowing example of what can be achieved when ingenuity meets hard work, and we are excited to see what this pioneering team will bring to the table next. We are not just celebrating their successes, but also anticipating the significant impact they are set to have on our journey towards a sustainable future. This truly is the dawn of a new era in design engineering.”
