Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch event of the Fenland District of the Chamber on 13 July, which will draw the local business community together at an exciting event involving networking, a tour of Elgood’s brewery, and also a little bit of beer tasting! There will be access to the stunning gardens included.
This event on Thursday 13 July is open to businesses in Fenland, and across Cambridgeshire, and will enable local businesses to broaden their network of business connections outside the local area whilst also picking up new referrals closer to home.
Andrew Silley, Chair of the Fenland Chamber of Commerce and Co-founder of the ST1 Group of Companies said, “I’m really excited about the re-launch of the Fenland Chamber of Commerce with the creation of a fun environment for business networking and relationship building across Fenland (incorporating Chatteris, March, Wisbech, Whittlesey and everywhere in between). We’re also looking to support businesses across the region, including helping to give them a voice both locally and nationally.”
Networking will continue in the stunning four-acre gardens that incorporate specimen trees, herbaceous borders, a lake, rockery, water features, an exotic house, and a herb garden.
Zoe Brennan, Events & Training Manager at Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Elgood’s Brewery is the ideal venue for networking and this event is designed to bring local business people together and facilitate new introductions.”
Ann Wardle, Business Engagement Manager at Fenland District Council, said: “It’s been several years since Fenland last had a forum where local businesses could make valuable connections and compare notes on what is affecting them. The new Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce – Fenland District will help businesses work together to achieve success for the good of themselves and the district, and will help make our business community stronger.
“We’re delighted to sponsor this inaugural event and would encourage all types of businesses to attend to find out more about how the chamber could benefit them.”
This event is open to all businesses and is sponsored by Fenland District Council.
