We are delighted to announce that Faye Holland, founder and director of Cofinitive Communications and #21toWatch, has been named as one of the InspiringFifty UK for 2024.
Initially started in the Netherlands in 2018, InspiringFifty is now a global awards ceremony, showcasing outstanding trailblazers, innovators and leaders breaking the barriers in tech. In collaboration with Founders Forum, InspiringFifty UK is a prestigious national initiative run by EQL:HER, recognising the inspirational efforts of the Top 50 women excelling in STEM across the whole of the UK.
The 2024 winners were announced during last week’s London Tech Week at a gala event held at Kensington Rooftop Gardens, which was opened by Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice. She was joined by Google UK MD, Debbie Weinstein, Cherie Blair CBE and author/Bridget Jones creator, Helen Fielding to celebrate the vital role women play in tech, business and innovation - and inspiring future generations of women to follow a similar career path.
Spanning almost 30 years, Faye’s contribution to the technology and innovation sector has been considerable.
For the last decade, her multi-award-winning specialist PR and communications consultancy, Cofinitive Communications has delivered impactful communications for innovative and disruptive early-stage technology startups, scaleups and entrepreneurs poised to make a difference in the world - elevating their presence through strategy, PR, marketing, branding and engagement.
Meanwhile, the #21toWatch technology and innovation awards - which Faye started six years ago - spotlights the outstanding, ground-breaking talent from across the East of England, ensuring they receive the recognition, funding and support they truly deserve.
Faye is additionally a co-presenter of the Cambridge Tech Podcast, which covers all things tech, and shares insights, opinions and updates on innovators, innovations and fundraises.
Prior to Cofinitive, Faye spent 20 years in multiple tech businesses – from the first ISP in the UK, to numerous emerging business opportunity practices in IBM, including as global lead for RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification), to running the European and Asia-Pacific operations of a global media company specialising in tech outsourcing.
Faye said: “It is incredible to be named one of the InspiringFifty UK for 2024, and especially in the company of such a talented group of women whose trajectories and achievements in technology are nothing short of extraordinary.
“InspiringFifty’s mission to increase diversity in tech is to be applauded. Having positive role models which reflect the rich diversity of our society is essential for inspiring the next generation of leaders and talent across the tech ecosystem – building toward a more equitable future. I hope this initiative will encourage and inspire future generations of women to consider an exciting career within our sector.”
