  • Noodles for breakfast? Local insights matter

I love a big hotel breakfast buffet. The spread is amazing, and while I'm tucking into my fruit and porridge I watch people eat not just the full English but noodles, curry or dried fish and rice. It's just normal to them, it’s what they do every morning – but it’s a great wakeup call to remind me that norms can be fundamentally different in a new market.

  • Agriculture and AI: improving food security for the future

A major 2016 McKinsey report ranked the ‘Agriculture and hunting’ sector the least-digitised of all sectors, 22nd of 22 behind all other sectors including construction. • 5 Things You Need to Know About Bonded Internet

As a Reseller, Value Added Reseller (VAR) or Channel Partner, you will know that your customers rely on their internet connection to benefit from the solutions that you provide to carry out their usual business.  However, according to the Office for National Statistics, over 20% of UK businesses have an internet connection that is slower than 10 Mbps, and only 16.1% have a connection that can deliver 100 Mbps or above*. Internet performance could therefore be a problem for a large number of your customers.

  • Establishing the foundation for 5G: a 2018 retrospective report

2018 saw new advances in technology, new merger & acquisition activity, and new pilots in 5G deployment. Though this past year saw a lot of progress, there’s much more to come in 2019. In order to make 5G a reality in 2019 and beyond, 2018 laid the groundwork in fiber, small cells, and determined the standards for other 5G technologies. This past year has provided the foundation for 5G organizational and industry standardization, through physical, regulatory, and operational infrastructure groundwork. To succeed in the future, carriers and their service providers will need to build new infrastructure to make 5G a reality. This report from Sitetracker outlines what infrastructure is necessary, how to build it efficiently, and what tools are needed. The bottom line: network densification requires operational excellence to succeed, so companies must innovate or be left behind.
