Unmet Needs in the Brain Injury Pathway

The potential for technology mediated health and economic benefits in the acquired brain injury pathway in adults and children is highly significant. These include systems to prevent head injury, facilitate better pre-hospital care, emergency care and acute care to supporting long term rehabilitation and support for daily living. This talk will outline issues that have been highlighted through the HTC and provide pointers for current priorities for those delivering healthcare services where technology solutions could be applied.
