Using Drones for Commercial Aircraft Inspection

There are currently over 25,000 commercial aircraft in worldwide operation today which is forecast to grow to nearly 35,000 by 2025 and over 40,000 by 2040. MRO Drone, a joint venture between Blue Bear and Output 42, is applying drone technology to introduce step changes in aircraft engineering data management and decision making, reducing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) time by up to 90% and introducing measurable efficiencies and cost savings for aircraft operators.
