This talk will explore options for mobile backhaul in areas where fibre isn’t available. We’ll explore the latest developments in point-to-point microwave radio systems, including the need to ensure spectrum is protected for backhaul radio links,. We’ll then discuss opportunities associated with the latest developments in LEO mega-constellations and compare different options for satellite backhaul. To conclude we’ll bring these discussions to life with real examples of solutions deployed and operational in today’s mobile network.
