Madeline is an experienced cybersecurity and technology professional with nearly 15 years’ experience in a range of sectors including in autonomous systems, computing, IoT, automotive and future mobility. Her technical background encompasses methods for cybersecurity and AI assurance for complex, opaque, and autonomous systems. Her current client portfolio includes AI security testing and autonomous cyber-defence work for both industry and government bodies. She has won national awards in the automotive industry (being named one of the Top 100 Great Women in the British Car Industry and having won the Autocar Drivers of Change in Digital Innovation), particularly for her work on security of autonomous driving systems, has contributed to high-profile outlets such as the World Economic Forum and Black Hat USA, appeared on national news and radio on cybersecurity topics and has published a number of peer-reviewed papers in the area. Madeline has a PhD in automotive cybersecurity, an MSc in forensic computing and a BSc in biochemistry.
