Lucy McCormick
Commercial Barrister, Henderson Chambers
Lucy is a commercial barrister at Henderson Chambers. She undertakes a variety of product liability and property damage work, and is particularly known for her expertise in relation to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Vehicles (AVs). She is a co-author of The Law and Autonomous Vehicles (2019) and a contributor to The Law of Artificial Intelligence (2020; 2024). She lectures nationally and internationally, with recent engagements including the European Robotics Forum, the Future of Transportation World Conference, the Society for Computers and Law, and the Institute for European Traffic Law. In 2023 Lucy won the CogX ‘Outstanding Achievements & Research’ award for her work on Tech Regulation. In 2025 she has been shortlisted for Chambers and Partners 'IT/IP Junior of the year'.
