Many of our rural seaside towns and more rural agricultural areas are suffering from really poor mobile connectivity – much worse than the OFCOM and operator provided data would indicate. The MNOs can only invest so much money in network deployment and despite initiatives like the SRN we are seriously behind the curve compared to our more urban colleagues. What’s the answer? Might there be room for some form of Neutral Host solution under certain circumstances?
