Entrepreneur in Residence, Cambridge Innovation Capital
Ignas Budvytis is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Cambridge Innovation Capital. He is working on the investment thesis on the topics related to multi-modal Agentic AI Systems and Robotics.
Ignas is also a researcher and former academic specialising in computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is dedicated to developing advanced technologies that enhance how machines perceive and interpret the world.
Ignas holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Cambridge. He recently served as an Assistant Professor of Computer Vision and Robotics in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge.
Principal Researcher, NATS
Richard Cannon is an Aerospace Engineer and an R&D lead at NATS, the UK's main air navigation service provider. Richard is passionate about aviation and improving the efficiency of our aviation system. Through the BlueBird Programme NATS and the Turing Institute are exploring the challenges of automating air traffic control to build a safe and sustainable future for the industry and to inspire future generations of engineers and scientists.
Lead Software Engineer, Nquiring Minds
Dr. Ash Setter is the Engineering Lead at NquiringMinds, a UK deep-tech company specializing in secure AI agents. He holds a Ph.D. in quantum physics from the University of Southampton, bringing rigorous analytical expertise to advanced systems design. At NquiringMinds, he leads teams developing cutting‑edge AI-driven solutions and cybersecurity infrastructure. For example, he spearheaded TrustNetZ – an open‑source zero‑trust networking security stack – and has driven his company’s contributions to the UKRI‑funded TAIBOM (Trusted AI Bill of Materials) initiative. The TAIBOM project is designed to accelerate the UK’s adoption of trustworthy and responsible AI by increasing transparency across the AI supply chain.
