Nick Wiggin is a telecommunications partnerships leader with more than 20 years’ experience building strategic alliances for global organisations including BT, Huawei, Ericsson and the GSMA. He focuses on accelerating high-performance connectivity for consumers through technologies that reduce latency, improve sustainability and deliver strong economic outcomes.
More recently, Nick has worked closely with UK government and local authorities to support digital infrastructure improvement, bringing expertise in digital strategy, stakeholder engagement, connected device programmes and emerging technologies including 5G and OpenRAN. His presentation, “Why the future of outdoor small cells is shared infrastructure,” will explain how neutral host solutions with CRAN architecture can improve mobile connectivity performance, reduce street clutter, support heritage and conservation priorities, and create more scalable outdoor small cell networks.
