Delivery Practice Lead

As a Delivery Practice Lead, you'll be pivotal in driving the success of our delivery efforts by identifying and eliminating impediments that may hinder our progress. Collaborating closely with a talented team of business experts, developers, consultants, and other professionals, you'll ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with our ambitious objectives.
This opportunity is based in Cambourne, UK.

Your responsabilities:

  • Planning and scheduling the delivery process, including defining work packages, milestones, and timelines. 
  • Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalates when needed 
  • Management and tracking of cross team dependencies 
  • Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress 
  • Identifying and managing risks to the delivery, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues. 
  • Designing a tailor-fit implementation approach (methodology, tools, standards) to run the program effectively 
  • Controlling the budget and resources of the delivery 

Your Skills and Experience:
 

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience as Engagement Manager, Project Lead, Scrum Master or a similar role. Work experience in related industry in an international environment 
  • Good general understanding of how large scale software systems are designed, built, tested, deployed and into the hands of customers. 
  • Proven track record on delivery engagements 
  • Sood understanding of business technology like SAP or Sales Force 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong can-do mentality and strategic mind-set and good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders as well as peers 
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro 
  • Deep understanding of agile practices (DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, OKR) and project management techniques (PMI,Prince2) certification is a plus
