Quantum is one of the hottest technologies of the moment, but the most important question is where it can move beyond hype into meaningful early applications. 

This session will explore why life sciences—and especially genomics and molecular simulation—are such promising candidates; how quantum technologies could help tackle their bottlenecks: improving optimisation and pattern recognition in biological data, enabling more accurate simulation of molecular systems, and ultimately accelerating drug discovery and precision medicine.
