We are Centrica – a global $35 billion energy and services company with 25m customer accounts, 33k employees and presence in the UK, US, Canada and across Europe. We have the whole energy value chain from upstream oil and gas, generation, trading, LNG, and electricity and gas supply to home and businesses. We own British Gas which is the market leader in the UK, Bord Gais which is the Irish market leader and Direct Energy which is the largest competitive energy retailer in North America. We are taking a lead in the transformation of innovative technology-led downstream businesses (IoT, batteries, demand response, etc) and £100m in investing in innovative startups in this space.

As part of this, we have identified EVs as a focus growth area for our businesses and have invested in building an EV business. We have one of the largest EV charging installed bases in the UK and have recently invested in Driivz, an Israeli EV charging software provider. We have been developing EV charging hardware, software and fleet-charging propositions.
