Network Rail Telecom (NRT) is developing one of the UK’s largest telecommunications networks. Building on a robust foundation of trackside optical fibre cables, we’re supporting a programme that will deploy European Rail Traffic Management System in-cab signalling and new Traffic Management technologies to 12 Route Operating Centres.

We’re also rolling-out a national SDH transmission and GSM-R network, a gigabit IP-MPLS and DWDM national network.
