A series of exciting events from our Legal SIG this autumn

Cambridge Wireless Legal SIG will be presenting a series of events this autumn to provide clarity to legal and regulatory issues. Highlights include the 13th November Legal SIG on ‘Information and Regulation in the Wireless Age’, with talks from Liz Fitzsimons, James Walsh and Simon Crossley from Eversheds LLP, and David Evans from the Information Commissioner’s Office. In addition our popular bi-monthly ‘ARM Networking Session’ will meet on the 14th November, and as usual will have no fixed agenda but will focus on a legal issue, and is open to all members within the technology industry.

13th November – Legal SIG: ‘Information and Regulation in the Wireless Age’
 
This half-day event is kindly hosted at the Eversheds London office, and will commence with a networking lunch and be followed by a number of informative presentations. The session will focus on topics such as privacy and data usage, future spectrum regulation, with advice on how to avoid ownership issues and how regulators view design privacy. Confirmed speakers include Liz Fitzsimons, James Walsh and Simon Crossley from Eversheds LLP, and David Evans from the Information Commissioner’s Office.
 
14th November - ARM Networking Session - Informal free legal advice
 
This FREE after-work session, in our bimonthly series, demands no legal background just a relaxed opportunity for members within the technology industry and experts from the legal community to meet and discuss an area of focus. The next meeting will take place on 14th October 2012 at the DoubleTree in Cambridge and is kindly hosted by ARM.
