Mobile World Congress: Fiesta or Siesta?! - Cambridge Wireless launch Accenture debate

On the 12th March, at the Moller Centre in Cambridge, Accenture, supported by Cambridge Wireless, will be delivering an evening debate entitled ‘Mobile World Congress – Fiesta or Siesta?! Join us to debate what’s good, what’s cool and what’s not at the Mobile World Congress!

This event will follow on from the Mobile World Congress, about which, whether you attended or you didn’t, you will have formed an opinion (or read someone else’s) on the key announcements and themes of this year’s show. Let’s re-create the emotion of Barcelona as we discuss the hits and misses of the 2013 Mobile World Congress, Cambridge Wireless style.

This session will be chaired by David Wood, Technology Planning Lead at Accenture Mobility and co-founder of Symbian Software who has almost 25 years’ experience in the mobile technology business. An impressive line up of Panellists include :

  • Professor William Webb, CTO at Neul, respected author of 12 books and over 100 papers, who has a significant influence on the world of wireless communications.
  • Dr Tony Milbourn, Director at u-blox UK, a leading figure within the global wireless communication industry with over 20 years’ experience of building and managing world class R&D teams.
  • John Lawrence, Director of Worldwide Technical Sales for Windows Phone in Microsoft’s Operator Channel organization.
  • Dr. Richard Windsor, Founder of Radio Free Mobile
