CommAgility ranked as one of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies in the 2013 Deloitte Technology Fast 50

Wireless technology firm achieves 766% growth in five years

CommAgility announced today that it ranked in 32nd position in the 2013 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK. The company’s position was based on its achievement of 766% revenue growth over the last five years. This is the second year in a row in which Deloitte has recognized CommAgility as one of its Fast 50. “Because the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 measures sustained revenue growth over five years, being one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK is an impressive achievement,” said Vijay Thakrar, Deloitte Technology partner for the Midlands. “CommAgility deserves a lot of credit for its remarkable growth."

The Fast 50 recognition adds to CommAgility’s recent success in the 2013 Queen’s Award for Enterprise, when it received the award for International Trade for its success in selling to overseas markets. From 2010 to 2012, CommAgility’s export sales grew by 51%.

Established in 2006, CommAgility designs, manufactures and sells complex electronic products for next generation wireless telecoms, focusing on 4G technology and new standards such as LTE and LTE Advanced. Its boards are based on DSP and FPGA chips, and provide high performance signal processing for wireless infrastructure, test and other demanding applications.

CommAgility’s success is technology led, and is driven by maintaining expertise and continual investment in R&D. Based at Loughborough University’s Science and Enterprise Park, the company exports around the world, with customers in over 15 countries including the USA, China, South Korea, India, France and Israel.
