DLR - The wind in our sails...

We’re pleased to announce we've been commissioned by TfL to improve customer experience through enhanced station wayfinding across the entire London Docklands Light Railway network.

The Maynard team just can’t seem to get enough of a good dock!

For the past 6 months we’ve been busy assisting the UK’s leading port group, Associated British Ports, with the development of an exemplar wayfinding system for 21 individual ports across England, Wales and Scotland.

Not one to rest on our laurels, we’re pleased to announce our recent commission to enhance a ‘dock’ of another kind: London’s Docklands Light Railway.

Originally opened in 1987 to serve the redeveloped Docklands area of London, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is an automated light metro system carrying over 110 million passengers every year. We are delighted to support our client, Docklands Light Rail Ltd and Transport for London (TfL), with their ongoing commitment to improving customer experience through enhanced station wayfinding across their entire network.

This isn’t an undertaking we take lightly; with over 40 individual stations to visit and optimise over the coming months, our hardy team are shipshape and ready to brave the elements!
