Cambridge Wireless Joins UK–Western Balkans Technology Trade Mission 2026
The mission brings together technology leaders, innovators, researchers and policymakers from across the UK and the Western Balkans to explore collaboration opportunities in some of the most dynamic areas of global innovation.
Delivered in partnership with the British Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the mission focuses on strengthening ties across AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation, advanced manufacturing and entrepreneurial ecosystems - areas where both the UK and Serbia have seen rapid growth and increasing international relevance.
A Growing Bridge Between Innovation Ecosystems
The Western Balkans region has emerged as a vibrant technology hub, with Serbia in particular demonstrating strong engineering talent, a thriving startup community and a rapidly expanding R&D landscape. Serbia now exports close to €1 billion annually in technology services to the UK, reflecting a deep and growing partnership.

-
High level networking
-
Curated B2B meetings
-
Knowledge exchange
-
Exploration of commercial and research partnerships
With 30+ UK companies and 150+ senior leaders expected to attend, the mission offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with decision makers shaping the future of technology across Europe.
