🏆 GreenMixes won the Cambridge Climate Challenge 2026!
We're thrilled to share that GreenMixes took first place at the Cambridge Climate Challenge Grand Final, walking away with ÂŁ5,000 and a special award of Canopy (CISL) membership.
Greenmixes are building a biochar-based admixture that replaces up to 15% of cement in concrete, while permanently sequestering 2.55 tonnes of COâ‚‚ per tonne of product. Concrete is responsible for ~8% of global COâ‚‚ emissions, and we believe construction can shift from being the world's largest industrial emitter to one of its largest engineered carbon sinks.
