R&D Tax credits – How the new “above the line” scheme will work – An update
Following the recent consultation process the Government have now released the details of how the new “Above The Line” (ATL) R&D expenditure credits will work. These latest changes to the large company scheme will affect both large companies and potentially some SMEs.
Companies claiming R&D tax relief under the large company scheme will, for the first time, have access to a repayable tax credit if they do not have corporation tax liabilities.
We have provided a more detailed commentary of the changes on our website. Please click on this link for access. R&D Tax Relief – Above the line tax credits.
