Spend enough time at connected and autonomous mobility events and the same thing gets the airtime: the vehicle. The sensors, the compute, the question of whether the thing can spot a cyclist in the rain. The CW Connected & Intelligent Places SIG day at Silverstone Museum this week, run jointly with the Silverstone Technology Cluster, was different. The vehicle barely came up. What people talked about was everything around it, and that’s the more honest conversation.
