Cambridge Wireless Announces 2026 Board Election Results
The results follow the 2026 nominations and voting process, which opened in March this year for three seats on the CW Board. As a member-led, not-for-profit organisation, CW’s Board is elected by its membership and plays a key role in guiding the strategic direction and continued growth of the organisation.
Paul Morris, Vice President, Communications Business Unit, EnSilica plc.
Paul Morris has been elected to the Cambridge Wireless Board, bringing over 30 years’ experience across wireless technologies, semiconductor systems and global technology markets. He is Vice President of the Communications Business Unit at EnSilica plc, where he leads the strategy, development and commercialisation of advanced wireless and semiconductor solutions.
Paul has held senior technical and commercial leadership roles at organisations including Qualcomm, CSR, Cadence and Symbionics, as well as several Cambridge-based start-ups. His experience bridges deep technical innovation with business leadership, spanning product strategy, IP development, partnerships and market expansion.
A Chartered Engineer and Project Management Professional (PMP), Paul holds a First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering and is the author of multiple patents in wireless technologies. He brings a strong understanding of the Cambridge technology ecosystem and is passionate about fostering collaboration, mentoring future leaders and supporting innovation across the sector.
Tim Ensor. EVP & General Manager, Intelligent Services Business Unit, Cambridge Consultants.
Tim Ensor has been re-elected to the Cambridge Wireless Board, bringing continued strategic leadership and deep expertise in AI and digital services. He is EVP and General Manager for Cambridge Consultants’ Intelligent Services Business Unit, where he leads global client relationships and innovation in AI-driven and digital solutions.
Tim works closely with senior leaders across multiple sectors to drive business growth through the identification, development and deployment of deep tech innovation. Prior to Cambridge Consultants, he held a range of commercial leadership roles across high-growth technology and consulting businesses, spanning AI, robotics, telecoms, energy, consumer goods and logistics.
A frequent public speaker and event chair, Tim is particularly focused on the intersection of technology and business.
Sylvia Lu, CEO & Founder, YOOVIP.
Sylvia Lu has been re-elected to the Cambridge Wireless Board, where she currently serves as Deputy Chair, continuing to bring her extensive expertise in telecoms, semiconductors and industry collaboration. She is an award-winning Chartered Engineer, Founder of YOOVIP, Non-Executive Director and deep-tech start-up mentor.
With nearly two decades across four generations of mobile technology, Sylvia advises public and private sectors leaders on technology and commercial strategy spanning telecoms, semiconductors, and satellite communications. She is an independent consultant to DSIT on telecom standards for Advanced Connectivity Technologies and 6G, and mentors UK semiconductor and satcom start-ups, including through Silicon Catalyst UK's ChipStart incubator.
Her wider cross-sector portfolio includes previous roles on the UKTIN and UK5G Advisory Board, and the Board of 5G-ACIA, where she built a global network of 18 MoU partners across six continents. Sylvia holds a First-Class degree in Electronic Engineering, an MSc in Communications and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol, a PGDip in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford, and an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge.
