Learn to communicate with confidence
Confident Communication on Monday 9 July, hosted by Barclays at its Eagle Labs (7-8 Clifton Court, Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge CB1 7BN) is aimed at anyone who needs to communicate/present with confidence, including technical people and introverts. This course, run by celebrated communication coach Jon Torrens, is based around interaction and feedback.
By the end of the session you will have the confidence to speak in your own character, have the ability to write great content and know some great techniques for engaging your audience.
You will also earn a valuable 6.5 CPD points.

About Jon Torrens
Jon Torrens has worked as a designer at games companies including Sony and Electronic Arts, and as a professional stand-up comic for a few years, so he knows how to engage and motivate. Occasionally he can be funny too.
Now, as a coach and speaker, Jon teaches confident communication, using his personal skills to both show and tell. He has delivered communication skills training for Cambridge University and for a variety of tech companies and software developers in Cambridge and London.
A unique combination of insights from the worlds of computer game design and stand-up comedy enables even the most introverted of his clients to deliver presentations that enhance their professional persona and both delight and motivate their audiences.
