Enhancing community resilience to multi-hazard risks workshop - MEDiate Project

Mariantonietta Morga and Nadeeshani Wanigarathna from ARU have contributed to the UKRI-cofinanced Horizon Europe project “MEDiate” (https://mediate-project.eu/) in the past two and a half years. The project aims to build a decision-support system for multi-hazard disaster management, supported by four testbeds: Essex County, Oslo City, Nice Metropolitan Area, and Mulathing (short video of the platform is available here: https://youtu.be/wq0ZEMaAJeA)

As part of the MEDiate activities, Mariantonietta and Nadeesha have organised an event at the ARU Cambridge campus titled “Enhancing community resilience to multi-hazard risks workshop - MEDiate Project“. The workshop will be held at ARU Cambridge campus on June 11th, from 12:00 to 17:00 in LAB307 or on Teams from 13:00 to 17:00. The workshop aims to present the MEDiate decision support system, but also to create knowledge exchange and networking opportunities and advance multi-hazard risk assessment in practice.

The workshop's target audience is disaster management authorities, the private sector, policymakers, academics, and civil societies.
