Innovating Workplaces: AI, Responsible People Practices and the Paradoxes of Change
Innovating Workplaces: AI, Responsible People Practices and the Paradoxes of Change
This interactive workshop explores how emerging technologies - especially Artificial Intelligence - are reshaping the workplace, and what that means for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). As organizations strive to innovate, they face complex challenges and opportunities at the crossroads of digital transformation and social responsibility.
Using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology, participants will engage in hands-on, reflective exercises that surface diverse perspectives and foster creative problem-solving. Through building and storytelling, we will explore how AI can both support and disrupt inclusive practices, and how innovation can be guided by ethical, human-centred design.
Whether you're an HR leader, DEI practitioner, technologist, or manager navigating change, this session offers a unique opportunity to collaboratively reimagine the future of work—one brick at a time. Join us to unpack the paradoxes, imagine new possibilities, and shape workplaces that are not only smarter, but fairer.
This workshop will take place twice during the day. You can choose to attend the morning or evening session. The timings are 10.00am - 13.00pm or 17.00pm - 19.00pm.
This workshop is brought to you by Black Talent & Leadership in STEM (BTLS) and the University of Bedford
