Maplesoft Takes Space At Broers Building, Cambridge

Nafield Properties, the joint venture between Turnstone Estates and Burall Developments, has concluded a deal on one of the final remaining suites at the Broers Building on the University of Cambridge’s West Cambridge site.

Maplesoft Europe which is a subsidiary of Cybernet Systems, specialises in software products for technical education and research. The 41,825 sq ft Broers Building is occupied by companies engaged in commercial research and related activities, including Nokia, Base 4 Innovation, Elektron and Metaswitch.

The four-storey R&D office building and adjacent Entrepreneurship Centre are part of the Hauser Forum, a focal point for entrepreneurship in the East of England, which aims to encourage innovative collaboration between academics, start-ups and established businesses.

A single unit of 6,232 sq ft is available to let within the building which could be divided to suit smaller space requirements. Joint lettings agents are Bidwells and Januarys. Creative Places are consultants.
