IOTAS to host the mobile industry’s leading technology experts at the next GCF SG meeting Cambridge, England – May 14th 2014
IOTAS, the UK’s leading dedicated wireless field testing company, is pleased to announce that it will host the next Steering Group (SG) meeting of the Global Certification Forum (GCF) from 16th to 18th June 2014.
With a philosophy of 'test once, use anywhere', and an industry agreed set of Certification Criteria that includes conformance, field trial & interoperability requirements, the GCF aims to ensure that a mobile device will work effectively on mobile networks anywhere in the world.
The SG meeting allows network operators, device manufacturers and test houses to discuss the latest technology trends, challenges and processes to ensure mobile phones and other wireless devices provide the best user experience anywhere in the world.
