Discovering Start-Ups Competition 2014 - DS14

Calling all UK tech start-ups to enter

Cambridge Wireless have teamed up with Silicon SouthWest to launch the 2014 Discovering Start-Ups Competition. Celebrating the creative, technical and entrepreneurial of promising and emerging UK technology start-ups, this exclusive event is kindly hosted and sponsored by Deloitte at their prestigious London offices. Bringing together industry experts, technology entrepreneurs, investors and sponsors, this event provides a springboard for innovative newcomers in the rapidly growing wireless technology sector.

Start-ups, early stage wireless companies and entrepreneurs from around the UK are urged to enter this exciting competition.  Finalists will pitch their ideas, technologies and innovative products to an elite judging panel of business leaders from Google, BT, Broadcom, IBM, Orange Labs, Samsung, London Business Angels, Cambridge Angels and many more.

We are pleased to announce that we will also be joined by David Cobb, Partner at Deloitte, our host and sponsor for this event; Dr David Cleevely, CBE, FREng FIET, Chairman of Cambridge Wireless, Chairman of Cambridge Angels and Chair of the Judges; Kevin Coleman, CEO of Alliantus Ltd and Chairperson for the day and both keynote speakers Miles Kirby, Managing Director of Qualcomm Ventures & Eze Vidra, Head of Google for Entrepreneurs Europe at Google.
