About Cambridge University Spaceflight

Cambridge University Spaceflight (CUSF) are a student-led engineering society based at the University of Cambridge who focus on the design and manufacture of Rockets and Rocket Engines. To date, CUSF have launched 4 High Powered Rockets in the Martlet series and most recent Aquila, which launched in September 2023. CUSF has also test fired the UK’s Largest Nitrous Hybrid engine. CUSF are currently working on an even bigger bipropellant liquid rocket engine, White Giant, which will power their record-breaking, long-term project Griffin – a 150 km apogee rocket aiming to go through the Karman Line, the edge of space.
