Making the most of your CW Membership

Member Dashboard Instructions

Welcome to the CW Dashboard, there you can manage your details, view your CW event registrations and upload articles to the CW website.

If you are part of the CW community, you will have a log in to the dashboard, even if you are not a member.

We’d like to encourage everyone to log on, check their details and update their marketing preferences. If you don’t know your password, you can reset it here.

Below are guides that will help you to get the most out of your CW membership:


Updating your personal details (including your marketing preferences)
Making sure we have your current contact details means that we can keep you up to date with the latest CW news and events. We’d also like to check that we’re sending you information that is relevant to the areas you’re interested in, so would appreciate you updating your marketing preferences.

  • Once you log in to the CW dashboard you will see the menu down the left-hand side
  • Click on ‘My profile’ then, ‘Edit my details’
    • Here you can add details like your phone number, dietary or mobility requirements and your professional profile. You can add as much or as little information as you would like
    • We ask for age range and gender identity to help us measure the demographics of our network, however this is optional if you would prefer not to disclose this information
    • Please note: if you have attended a CW event in the past we may already hold some of this information
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save profile’ when you’re finished
    • To get back to the CW website click on the logo in the top left of the Dashboard
  • Click on ‘My profile’ then, ‘Marketing preferences’
    • Sign up for our newsletter and job spotlight emails (including the option to have the job spotlight sent to a person email address)
    • Sign up to have the quarterly CW Journal delivered to you
    • Let us know what sectors and technology areas you are interested in so that we can send you targeted emails that are more relevant to you
    • Please note: we may already have some interests selected based on events you have previously attended, please do amend if these are incorrect
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save profile’ when you’re finished
    • To get back to the CW website click on the logo in the top left of the Dashboard
  • Click on ‘My profile’ then, ‘Update login details’
    • Here you can amend your email address and password
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save profile’ when you’re finished
    • To get back to the CW website click on the logo in the top left of the Dashboard

If you are a member of more than one organisation, you can switch between the two by clicking on your company logo or name at the top left of the screen (next to the CW logo). Your personal details will be the same for all organisations you are a member of.

Managing your organisation’s details
There are different types of accounts on the CW Dashboard that serve different functions, these are:

Key Contact – every organisation has a key contact, who has the admin rights to amend the company information, add jobs, news and events and will receive details of membership renewals. The key contact is also the person from each member organisation who votes in the annual CW Board elections.

Marketing Contact – has the admin rights to amend the company information and add jobs, news and events. The CW team will be in touch with marketing contact to discuss how we can work together.

HR Contact – has the admin rights to add jobs to the CW jobs board.

Finance Contact – has the admin rights to update the billing details for the organisation and will receive details of membership renewals.

  • Click on ‘Organisation info’ then, ‘Edit organisation details’
    • Here you can add and amend information about your organisation including a short summary of your organisation and a longer profile that will form the basis of your member profile on the CW website
    • You can also add your organisation’s social media accounts to help our members connect with you
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save organisation’ when you’re finished
  • Click on ‘Organisation info’ then, ‘Members’
    • Here you can add and amend information about employees in your organisation
    • The key contact can also assign the above admin rights to employees (please note: there can only be one key contact per organisation) and delete people who have left the organisation
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save member’ when you’re finished
  • Click on ‘Organisation info’ then, ‘Categorisation’ (Key contact only)
    • Here you can add and amend which categories your organisation operates in, this will help CW to provide tailored services to you and help visitors to our website find you in the members list
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save profile’ when you’re finished
  • Click on ‘Organisation info’ then, ‘Offices’ (Key contact only)
    • Here you can add and amend the addresses of any offices your organisation has, including registered or billing addresses
    • Click on the name of the office to edit
    • Don’t forget to hit ‘Save office’ when you’re finished
  • Click on ‘Organisation info’ then, ‘Payments’ (Key contact only)
    • Here you can view any payments made through the CW website

Adding an event listing
If you are the organisation’s key contact or a marketing contact, you will have the admin rights to add events onto the event listing on the CW website. Once an event has been submitted to the website it will be reviewed by one of the CW team and you will receive an email confirmation when it has been posted on to the site.

  • Once you log in to the CW dashboard you will see 3 boxes at the top of the screen, select the one that says ‘Create an event’
  • Fill in each of the boxes with as much information as you can, making sure you complete the required fields marked with an *
  • All text in bold is there to help you to fill out the form with the correct details and to make sure any images used are the right dimensions
  • Tick any relevant tags that are appropriate to your event, try to limit this to about 5
  • If you would like the event to remain in draft so you can come back to it later, select ‘Do not publish on the website’ and click ‘Save event’
  • If the event is ready to be posted select ‘Submit for website publications’ and click ‘Save event’
  • Once the event has been saved you will be able to see how it will look on the CW site by clicking on the ‘View on site’ button at the top right of the form
  • The event should be posted within 24 hours of submission

You can review all posted events by going to the Events section of the left-hand menu in the CW Dashboard. Here you can see the title of the event, the status (either Draft, Submitted or Approved) and the start and finish dates for the event. To amend any details of the event, click on the title and you will be taken back to the event form.

From the home page of the CW Dashboard you can see at a glance how many items you have pending approval, as well as a list of all items added to the site by your organisation. You can also use this list to view or edit your events.

Adding a news article
If you are the organisation’s key contact or a marketing contact, you will have the admin rights to add articles into the news listing on the CW website. Once an article has been submitted to the website it will be reviewed by one of the CW team and you will receive an email confirmation when it has been posted on to the site.

  • Once you log in to the CW dashboard you will see 3 boxes at the top of the screen, select the one that says ‘Add a news article’
  • Fill in each of the boxes with as much information as you can, making sure you complete the required fields marked with an *
  • All text in bold is there to help you to fill out the form with the correct details and to make sure any images used are the right dimensions
  • Tick any relevant tags that are appropriate to your article, try to limit this to about 5
  • If you would like the article to remain in draft so you can come back to it later, select ‘Do not publish on the website’ and click ‘Save article’
  • If the article is ready to be posted select ‘Submit for website publications’ and click ‘Save article’
  • Once the article has been saved you will be able to see how it will look on the CW site by clicking on the ‘View on site’ button at the top right of the form
  • The event should be posted within 24 hours of submission

You can review all posted articles by going to the News section of the left-hand menu in the CW Dashboard. Here you can see the title of the article, the status (either Draft, Submitted or Approved) and the date it was posted. To amend any details of the article, click on the title and you will be taken back to the form.

From the home page of the CW Dashboard you can see at a glance how many items you have pending approval, as well as a list of all items added to the site by your organisation. You can also use this list to view or edit your articles.

Adding a job vacancy
If you are the organisation’s key contact or a marketing contact, you will have the admin rights to add job vacancies onto the jobs listing on the CW website. Once a job has been submitted to the website it will be reviewed by one of the CW team and you will receive an email confirmation when it has been posted on to the site.

  • Once you log in to the CW dashboard you will see 3 boxes at the top of the screen, select the one that says ‘Upload a job opportunity’
  • Fill in each of the boxes with as much information as you can, making sure you complete the required fields marked with an *
  • All text in bold is there to help you to fill out the form with the correct details and to make sure any images used are the right dimensions
  • Tick any relevant categories that are appropriate to your job
  • If you would like the job to remain in draft so you can come back to it later, select ‘Do not publish on the website’ and click ‘Save job’
  • If the job is ready to be posted select ‘Submit for website publications’ and click ‘Save job’
  • Once the job has been saved you will be able to see how it will look on the CW site by clicking on the ‘View on site’ button at the top right of the form
  • The job should be posted within 24 hours of submission

You can review all posted job vacancies by going to the Jobs section of the left-hand menu in the CW Dashboard. Here you can see the title of the job, the status (either Draft, Submitted or Approved), the closing date and whether or not the vacancy has been promoted as a featured job. To amend any details of the job, click on the title and you will be taken back to the form.

From the home page of the CW Dashboard you can see at a glance how many items you have pending approval, as well as a list of all items added to the site by your organisation. You can also use this list to view or edit your jobs.
