Driving Sustainability in Science Park Development

Brought to you by Cambridge Network

Discover how Welch's Transport is revolutionising last-mile deliveries with their cutting-edge net-zero service.

Registration for this event is now closed.

About the event

Join us on 7th June for an evening in the sun (hopefully!) at the Unity Campus, the new innovation district in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside. There’ll be short talks about the sustainability strategy for the campus and you’ll discover how Welch's Transport is revolutionising last-mile deliveries with their cutting-edge net-zero service.

Using the campus as a case study, the evening will focus on the practical aspects of achieving net zero carbon in a science park environment. Local family-run Welch’s will bring a selection of lorries, from vintage to state of the art electric-powered, for you to explore. It's a fantastic opportunity for budding engineers to indulge their curiosity and engage in hands-on lorry exploration! So, if you have any aspiring engineers in your midst, we encourage you to bring them along.

If you fancy an evening at the Unity Campus’ lovely piazza, meeting interesting people over a glass of wine, getting up close and personal with some haulage and discussing sustainability strategies, this is your chance!
