About the event

With guest panellists Anthony Rose, Founder and CEO of SeedLegals, Anthony Alderson, Director of The Pleasance Theatre Trust, Pawlet Brookes FRSA, CEO and Artistic Director of Serendipity, and Sarah Sansom, Creative Coach and Executive Producer.

Chaired by Paul Bourne, Artistic Director, Menagerie and Fellow in the Arts (Creative Engagement), Cambridge Judge Business School.

“Where is the balance in creative industries between ‘doing the art’ and making money?”

An exploration of the dynamics of entrepreneurship in creative industries.

Paul Bourne will chair a discussion and take questions for a panel of experts who have been working in arts and creative industries as entrepreneurs, creators and producers. What drives the making of good art? What is the value placed upon opportunities in the Creative Industries? Is a creative product or service any different to any other start-up company or business? What is the investment landscape like? And ultimately is ‘art’ really a creative ‘industry’?

Registration: 18:25-18:30
Panel talk: 18:30-20:00
Networking: 20:00-20:30
