With guest panellists: Moshiel Biton, CEO and Co-founder at Addionics and Jogchum Brinksma, Founder, FLOBAS Ventures
The world has a “carbon budget” – a (rapidly decreasing) amount of greenhouse gases we can put in the atmosphere before global heating is likely to become catastrophic, not just a crisis. What role might entrepreneurship have to play in transforming existing industries before it’s too late? Are the answers different in Europe from those in other parts of the world? What can entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers do to distinguish between entrepreneurship that simply “rides the wave” of anxiety around this issue and entrepreneurship that could genuinely make a difference to the problem, and support the latter?
Chaired by Dr Chris Coleridge, Senior Faculty in Management Practice, Cambridge Judge Business School.
