A breakfast meeting where you will:

• Learn how we will be working with businesses, schools, training providers and the local community to increase the number of apprenticeship starts in our region.
• With employers in strategically important sectors reporting skills shortages, we will discuss how apprenticeships can increase and develop a talent pipeline.
• We will also look at what's happening in schools to make sure more young people consider apprenticeships as part of their future career.
• We will highlight the companies and the schools that have signed our pledge to support apprenticeships.

There will be opportunities to hear from companies that have successfully established apprenticeship programmes and opportunities for networking. A light breakfast will be served.
