KTP Celebration 2021

Brought to you by University of Essex

About the event

LET’S GET TOGETHER!

As the fog appears to be lifting on in person gatherings, we are hungry to commit to a date to bring our industry and academic community together, to share the successes and challenges we have overcome since the world was disrupted.

We are delighted to welcome Tom Slater, Chief of Manufacturing Engineering at Rolls-Royce, as our keynote speaker. Tom will discuss his innovation-focused role at Rolls-Royce as they launch the demonstrator of their incredible new engine, UltraFan. The largest aero-engine in the world, UltraFan is capable of 25% efficiency gains on other aero-engines, making it transformational in terms of sustainability.

In partnership with Innovate UK EDGE, we are bringing together collaborators, funders and leading academic voices, for an evening of discussion and networking around the shape of innovation over the coming months and years.

Spaces in person may be limited, so we encourage signing up as early as possible. Options for virtual attendance will be released closer to the event.

Date: Thursday, 30 September 2021
