A renowned quantum computing company is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join at an exciting time of growth, do you want to be involved in projects centered around climate change, material science and new drug discovery? You will be working collaboratively across the business developing tools and providing support for R&D, quantum and software teams. There is a chance for you to also learn about quantum computing and gain exposure to this new and ever-evolving technology.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be expected to optimise and test the existing code base, as well as help develop and improve existing tools used by internal teams within the business. With a further expected to provide BAU support and maintain the existing infrastructure. You will also be expected to mentor and help develop junior engineers with an opportunity to progress into a management position in the near future.
The required DevOps Engineer will be working on:
- Tool setup
- Automated testing – Python programming and Pytest
- Packaging/release mechanisms
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Artifact & Docker management
- Linux System admin
